LoungeWiki is a crowdsourced directory of airport lounges. After LoungeBuddy shut down, travelers lost their go-to source for lounge information. LoungeWiki fills that gap by combining detailed data with community reviews to help travelers find and access airport lounges.
Challenge & Approach
Finding good airport lounge information is hard. Travelers don't know which lounges they can access with their ticket, airline status, or credit card. When LoungeBuddy was acquired and shut down, there was no independent place left to find this information.
Build a complete database of airport lounges that tracks airline alliances and access rules. Let travelers read detailed reviews about amenities and see calibrated scores to make smart choices about where to spend time at the airport.
