Hi. I’m Nathaniel, an interdisciplinary thinker and creative problem-solver. I draw on a variety of interests to design elegant solutions for complex problems.
I love technology that creates efficiencies, reduces hassle, and makes life better. To that end, I’m enthusiastic about the potential of innovation to transform the world, and I’m eager to understand its implications in all areas of life.
As a thinker, I’m drawn to the intersection of psychology, politics, and economics. I study how people relate to their world, as individuals and as groups. Major research interests include the formation of national identity and the political implications of an evolving labor market. On the organizational level, I study how firms can foster creative cultures of innovation.
What I’m doing now:
📖 Business school at Georgetown. I’m in the inaugural cohort of the Master of Science in Management program at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. It’s an accelerated, STEM-designated business degree—the MBA core, plus a focus on technology and innovation.
And before that:
🍇 Starting a winery. Archibald James is a boutique producer of minimal-intervention wines and ciders. Everything is handcrafted in small batches, using the finest local fruit, in the heart of Washington state’s wine and cider country.
